“I worked with Twila on a very active, very large event project. She managed our social media scheduling and necessary graphics quickly, professionally, and accurately. Being organized AND creative was just what we needed to help make our project run smoothly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing in that area because I knew Twila had it handled!”

“Twila offered a perfect balance of creativity, adaptability, and professionalism. She was able to work within our established guidelines while achieving unique aesthetics and creating clear, compelling pieces. She kept a professional correspondence, managed expectations, and was always at the ready when we needed to adapt. Her work for the 125th birthday celebration of Alexandre Hogue was key in our promotional and archival accomplishments; we couldn’t have done it without her.”

“I have lived in Tulsa for the past 46 years and have enjoyed being a member of many of Tulsa Arts organizations in Tulsa.

I have also had the pleasure of working with Third Floor Design of Tulsa University.

The last project that I was involved with was the passing of Senate Bill 1671 that would allow middle and upper schools in Oklahoma to teach Holocaust Education. This is a bill that Gov Stitt has signed. Due to  Oklahoma House Bill 1775, we are working with the State Department of Education and two state legislators to provide teachers with a curriculum that follows the requirements of Senate Bill 1671.

We had retained Twila from Third Floor Design where she designed a brochure that gave a history of the Holocaust. This was given to all the legislators.

Twila went above and beyond to do compelling research in providing our brochure. She did an amazing design and photos that depicted the events explicitly. Her personal research provided a very telling story for our mission.

Third Floor has prepared their students for after graduation to comfortably go out into our community with great skill.

I would not hesitate to work with Twila again as she was always prompt with her material and showed a great deal of knowledge and preparation in completing the project.”

“Working with Twila in designing the annual logo for the John Hope Franklin Reconciliation in American National Symposium was a creative, professional, and learning experience for all of us - through marketing, history lesson, and graphic representation.  Twila managed each aspect of listening to the history that the design would represent, along with considering the varied voices of those who would select the design.  No easy task, but Twila took notes, asked questions, and delivered options that surpassed expectations.  I appreciated her strength in taking words and experiences into consideration as she transformed our visions into a graphic design that guided the discussion of the Symposium speakers and the subsequent work over the next year as the John Hope Franklin Center continued to build on the topic that was depicted by her logo creation.  Trust Twila to depict your dreams through graphic design.”

Twila Bird has been an invaluable graphic advisor to me for the past five years. She has my highest recommendation.”
